Objective: Ultimate Medical Academy wanted to standardize the format in which they received leads from third parties, and their evaluation, and move away from having to write custom scripts for each vendor.
Challenges: The primary challenge in this project was to create an extensible and dynamic form structure which could be used by the marketing department administrators to create unique forms for each vendor, while ensuring that the required information for lead scoring and third-party CRM system submission was captured. Axelerant utilized the webform module as the extensible base and developed custom modules for specific requirements of lead processing and work-flow management for Ultimate Medical Academy.
Solution: The overall solution met the marketing department’s needs as a system that could be managed by non-technical users to create and manage vendor forms, an RESTful API to standardize the format in which vendors submitted data, a lead scoring system that integrated with third-party vendors for decision supporting score information, custom decision logic per form, fault-tolerant system architecture to ensure leads were spooled and released in the event of third-party outages, and a scalable system to ensure hundreds of lead submissions per minute.

Result: A satisfied client who was happy with the overall results and performance of the system. It has processed over 500,000 leads in a six months of activity with over 100+ lead vendors submitting data on a daily basis.
